I have photographed places around the world for more than three decades, but the photographs I remember most are rarely about the destination. They are about the moment.

Time is often limited, so when I have the opportunity to take my camera out, I don’t wait for perfect conditions. It doesn’t matter whether the sun is shining, a storm is rolling in, the sky is grey, or the light is changing by the minute. I know there is something there worth seeing.

Something beautiful.
Something unexpected.
Something that tells a story.

Photography has taught me to pay attention — to the light, the weather, the people, the feeling, and the small details that might disappear seconds later.

For me, In the Moment is not about being impulsive. It is about being present.

Sunshine or storm, there is something beautiful in it all.
